General policies
A minimum of 5 students per class is required for the class to take place. If your class is canceled, you will be offered a spot in the other class. If that time does not work for you, your tuition will be refunded.

If you are unable to make your regular class time, you may attend another class session, space permitting.

Tuition
Tuition is $90/month and will be billed monthly and due on the 16th of the current month.
The $25 registration fee is due upon registration to hold your spot. You will then be billed monthly on March 16th, April 16th and May 16th.
Tuition will be collected via Stripe. A 0.8% fee will be assessed for ACH payments and a 2.9% fee will be assessed for credit card payments. These fees cover Stripe’s security and administrative costs.

Please note, my umbrella business is Seattle Violin Studio. You may see this name on your invoices and receipts.

Illness policy
Please do your part to keep your classmates healthy. Stay home if anyone in your family is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or has come in close contact with someone who has tested positive.
If you have had a fever, diarrhea, vomiting or other contagious symptoms in the past 24 hours, please stay home.

If I am sick, but well enough to teach, I will hold a virtual class.

If I am too sick to teach class, we will make that up on June 23.

Masks are optional.

About class:
Students take turns playing the shared instruments (including xylophone, glockenspiel and triangle) with my help. We will sanitize hands (if age appropriate) at the start of class, but it is not possible to wipe down shared equipment between turns. All equipment is sanitized after each class.

Home listening is a key part of the class. Regular listening will help you and your little one participate fully and build the skills we are exploring in class.

You are your child’s best teacher! Come ready to sing, dance and participate fully.

Withdrawing from class:
All withdrawal requests must be received in writing via email.

You may withdraw from class for no charge up to 7 days before class starts. Registration fees will not be refunded after that.

You may withdraw from class at any time. Tuition will be due through the end of the current billing cycle. For example, if you withdraw on April 1, tuition will not be prorated or refunded. You will not be billed on April 16. You are still welcome to attend class through the end of your billing cycle.
